Read This If You Want to Copy Video Games

By Jon Cado

The way video game technology has evolved over the past 2 decades is enough to make one's head spin! There has never been a time in history that a product has done so well, spawning repeat sales and being instrumental in drawing families closer: to bond through gaming activities. Markets for video games are now defined by: age, gender, culture, ethnicity and income bracket. Senior citizens will soon be a market force to be reckoned with, as they have also started participating in the family fun.

Xbox360, PSX, PS2, PS3, Nintendo and Dreamcast are only a few of the gaming brands which are available. Everyone has their favorite; however I myself cannot decide which brand/s I prefer. They are all impressive. The video games that are available now are such interesting story plots and great 3-dimensional picture quality that to me it is almost like watching (or participating in) the making of a movie!

The greatest drawbacks of CD-ROM and DVD-ROM based games (that is, game originals stored on discs) are how susceptible they are to becoming scratched. One has just to hold a disc wrong and the finger smudges left behind could warp the disc, preventing it from playing properly. They can also break easily and are common targets for theft as these games are very much in demand.

In cases like these, owners of the video game that was stolen or damaged may have to consider buying a replacement. However with some foresight, expensive video games can be safeguarded, at little to no cost to the owner. By learning how to copy video games free, back-up copies of these originals can be produced hassle-free.

So with these great reasons in mind for protecting video games, here are a few tips on how to go about making copying of game originals.

Though it makes sense to protect games by creating duplicates, the process of copying these discs is much more complicated. In order to burn an original disc, you must first get past the encryption, which is on the disc. The encryption is only meant to protect the manufacturer's welfare, by eliminating the possibility of "boot-leg" copies. A special software is available that can break the encryption embedded within the disc, enabling the copying or "burning" of game originals.

Back-up software is available almost everywhere these games and game consoles are sold. They are also sold online. With computer access and Internet "hook-up" one can conduct a simple search through their favorite search engine using the keywords copy video games free.

The keyword search would result in lists of websites offering great discounts and free trial periods to persons scouting around for bargains. Software like the Easy Back-up Wizard can be purchased online for only $50.00 US.

There are many deals available online; one just has to know which ones to trust.

How to Play Copied Xbox 360 and PS3 Games

By Mick Mosely

Microsoft XBOX 360 and Sony Playstation 3 have taken the world by storm. The games are absolutely amazing with out of the world graphics. The only problem is that the games are really expensive. I'm sure that everyone who has played XBOX 360 or PS3 games has scratched the disks and rendered them unplayable. Both these problems could be solved if there was a way to copy these games and then play these copied games on your console. Well there is a way and I will show you how.

The games for XBOX 360 and PS3 cannot be directly copied because they are encrypted and will not copy entirely, the section of the disk required to boot up the game will not be copied. So what do we do now? Luckily there is work around now thanks to some advances in technology. Here are the steps to play your copied XBOX 360 and PS3 games without the need for any mod of any kind on your console.

1. Download and install The utility software.

2. This software will copy the games 1:1 including the boot sector, and will enable you to play copied games.

3. Now Insert the Game disk of the game you want to copy or the downloaded ISO file.

4. Now insert a brand new DVD or Blue Ray disk and select copy from the menu of the software.

5. Wait for the game to burn, this might take a long time as the software has to copy the boot sector as well.

The best part of the method is that it completely legal and requires no form of mod chips or any mods to be installed on your system. You will also not void your warranty for your console in any way. So backup as many games as you want with just this one download! [http://www.gamecopywiz.info]DOWNLOAD the software from here!

It can take about an hour to fix this error problem yourself and in the majority of cases it is caused by overheating in the unit. This can lead to a failure of small components and some simple steps can bring back your console to full use again.

Just because a component stops working it does not necessarily mean it is dead and useless it may just means that it is tired because of over use.

Xbox360 Repair - 30 Minutes Or Less

By Rick Saroukhanian

Xbox360 repair can be frustrating if you do not have the proper instructions or tools to guide you. Your Xbox360 is without doubt, one of the precious possessions that you are proud of, but it is not infallible.

An Xbox360 repair can be done by yourself and in the convenience of your own home. Make sure your system is clean and is getting proper airflow. To improve your system airflow, trying blowing compressed air into the perforations located on the back and sides of the system.

If that does not work and you are feeling more adventurous, you can disassemble your Xbox360 and further inspect it for damage. However, you should be aware that this form of Xbox360 repair would void your warranty.

Xbox360 Repair Quick Steps:

1. Unplug the power and AV cables and open your console. Do not forget to unplug the console...seriously.

2. Disconnect your DVD drive and remove it from the chassis.

3. Disconnect and remove your fan and fan shroud from the chassis.

4. Lift out your circuit board from the chassis.

5. Remove the x-clamps.

6. Remove your heat sinks, the studs from the heat sinks and clean the thermal paste off of the CPU, GPU and heat sinks.

7. Put thermal paste on CPU and GPU.

8. Put the x-clamp kit screws and washers (these replace the x-clamps and studs) into the circuit board.

9. Screw the heat sinks in place with the x-clamp kit screws.

10. Put the circuit board back into the chassis.

11. Connect the DVD drive and the fan. Do not snap the fan back in place yet. Place the fan face down (stickers down) with one fan over the CPU and one over the DVD drive. Reconnect the power and the AV cables. Turn on the Xbox 360 for 15 minutes and let it overheat. After 15 minutes turn the console off and let it cool down for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes turn the unit back on and you should be rewarded with green lights.

An Xbox360 repair should always be a "do it yourself project" since if you turn the Xbox 360 to Microsoft for repair your wait time would be 4-8 weeks.

E74 Repair For Xbox360 - Avoid and Fix These Common Errors

By Jonathan Palmieri .

In order to understand what has happened to your console and what steps you need to take to repair it, you must first understand exactly what these errors mean. The ring of death refers to the 3 red lights that flash around in a circle on the power button of your console. When this happens you are in trouble because you will not be able to play your Xbox360 or even access the dashboard. The main reason for these errors is that your system has overheated due to improper ventilation and fan exhaust. If you do not properly vent your Xbox 360, heat will build up very quickly inside of the case. This will eventually lead to malfunctions and damage to the system. Signs of this are freezing, lock ups, ring of death, and E74.

There are simple steps you can take to avoid these errors from occurring. The main way to avoid errors is to put your Xbox 360 in a place that will allow for good ventilation and cooling. Make sure there is room around the system so that it can have moving air to help it cool. Do not place your console in direct sunlight as this will also heat up the system enough to cause problems. There are cooling vents for the fans on all sides of the console. Because of this, you should not stack devices on top of each other or put games on top of the Xbox360.

If you have already experienced these errors there are many options available to you to get your console fixed. However, do not be fooled by scams and quick fixes such as the infamous paper towel method. Doing this will cause permanent damage to your console and you will have no choice but to buy a whole new system.

If you want to get back to gaming as quick as possible there is a repair guide that will help you do this in as little as 45 minutes! The repair guide that I recommend is the   rel=nofollow [http://www.E74repair.com]3redlightfix. This repair guide is Microsoft approved and will repair all errors including E74, 3 red lights (ring of death), freezing, graphic glitches, and 2 red lights. With purchase you will instantly receive these tutorials along with a PDF guide with pictures and instant access to membership area for full online support 24 hours a day. The best part is, if you are for some reason not satisfied, they offer a full money back guarantee with no questions asked.

So get back to gaming! If these errors haven't happened to you, follow the tips I have provided so that you do not have to go through it!
